We hold new workshops on lung health at Antanes School

The Lovexair Foundation has started the year by giving a strong boost to education with the aim of establishing healthy lifestyle habits among children. For the moment, the Antanes de Leganés school has been in charge of hosting this initiative. So far, more than 150 minors have participated in these workshops on lung health aimed at primary school children.

In this way, through the HappyAir project, they acquire knowledge about the respiratory system in a more dynamic and fun way, and children are made aware of the importance of acquiring healthy lifestyle habits.

The HappyAir program is an innovative project, in which actions to promote, prevent and monitor Lung Health are carried out. Through this initiative, the Foundation develops training workshops for children and adults in order to broaden knowledge about respiratory diseases.

The workshops, given by health professionals specialized in respiratory health, include a theoretical part, and a practical part in which students become familiar with the respiratory system through activities.

On this occasion, Eva Maroto, director of the Foundation's Patient, Technological Innovation and Training Area, is in charge of promoting these workshops. At the end of the training session, the students make a bookmark where they include the four main steps to control breathing.

From the Lovexair Foundation we are interested in expanding our line of action to teach children about the importance of leading a healthy life. In this sense, from Lovexair we will be delighted to have new collaborators who want to join this great initiative, either through a donation or in the form of sponsorship, and thus offer support to teachers, family members and children in order to reinforce the visibility of respiratory diseases.

From the Lovexair Foundation, we invite other schools to join this great initiative. If you want more information contact us by email cuentanos@lovexair.com
