Year-end 2022 at Lovexair: achievements and upcoming challenges in digital and respiratory health
Board of Trustees Meeting – June 2023
In June 2023 we held our meeting with a positive dynamic among the members of the Board of Trustees: patients, family members, and experts in digital health and communication with innovation in the nonprofit sector.
We appreciate the commitment and active participation of our members on the most important issues that affect many health NGOs today: among them, the financial sustainability of our organizations that currently play a key role in the Society in transformation, especially given the deficiencies that exist between countries and the systems dedicated to health management, in terms of access to medication and personalized care for patients and families in respiratory diseases .
Also the importance of sustaining and promote in our area ethical values in conduct, respect and good treatment between all people, companies, institutions and with whom we form collaborative relationships that must contribute to our shared objectives.
We live a time that is going through economic difficulties and the provision of human and technical resources with experience and know-how. Despite everything, the trust placed in our organization allows us to advance in multi-stakeholder partnering to provide resources and solutions in ambitious projects in the field of health, facilitating a new path adapted to real life and prepared for the next generation in managing their health according to their lifestyles.
We consider that it is an area of attention that requires that all the people involved respect and act with transparency and honesty. It is not for our own benefit, but for the collective benefit that we change the implementation of useful practices.
We end the virtual meeting this summer with congratulations on the solid management of the Foundation in 2022 presented by María Angeles Garcia from the AFA (Andalusian Associations and Foundations) and by the continued innovation and reach which we achieved especially in Latin American countries with important collaborating organizations including Fundación Fiquires, AyudanosaRespirar and IPETH.
Our express thanks to the great team of Lovexair among them we highlight: Lila Martinez Ucha, Andrea Gonzales, Eva Maroto, Rosario D'Imperio and the health professionals who support us in various projects between Latin America and Spain: Claudia Jimenez, Luz Osorio, Andrea Buitrago, Norma Trujillo, Mar Esteban, Teresa García and our ICT (Information and Communications Technology) support team: Mustafá Abusalah, Mohammad Gazal, Asem Saleh and Santiago Carbonell who are accompanying our digital transformation in the last year.
Without your commitment and dedication we will not be able to maintain the dynamics we need to keep up with international projects in digital health and to create a great respiratory community where the patient and family are accompanied by health professionals in their day to day. This is how we all win knowledge in R&D projects that provide quality of life to the people , improve personal knowledge and the relationship between patient and doctor.
