Firm steps to promote respiratory health in Mexico

From November 20 to 22, we actively participated in the IV Ibero-American Congress of Respiratory Therapy and Mechanical Ventilation in Mexico City, where we held our 5th HappyAir Conference.

 

During these three days we did:

• +120 pulmonary evaluations with personalized reports that help patients make informed decisions together with their doctors.
•  Educating patients and caregivers on the proper use of expiratory devices to improve respiratory hygiene, which directly impacts their quality of life.
• Launch of CheckAir, an innovative tool to assess lung health and identify risk factors or triggers early.
• Training of more than 30 health professionals on the proper handling of respiratory devices, promoting best clinical practices.
• Presentation of the HappyAir Proactive Program and its results in Latin America, highlighting significant improvements in quality of life, adherence to treatment and reduction of sedentary lifestyle in patients with Cystic Fibrosis.

This event would not have been possible without the support of our allies:

Aerosol Medical System, for their collaboration for more than 4 years in Mexico, supporting with spirometry evaluations and donations of Vios and Aerobika compressors. 

Claudia Jimenez – our therapist and HappyAir Coach – for her dedication to providing personalized support to each patient, helping them to better manage their lung health. We thank Rafael Salazar, therapist and HappyAir Coach, who continuously supports our activities in Mexico. And many thanks to Dr. Rivas for her professionalism and support with Cystic Fibrosis patients in Mexico. 

The Ambassadors of the Lovexair Foundation, Josué David Márquez, Israel Gutiérrez and Adriana Castro, for su commitment and dedication in the organization and the <strong>success</strong> This event for the respiratory community. It is a pride that they are part of the foundation.
