Within the framework of World Day for Rare Diseases and, coinciding with Andalusia Day, Shane Fitch, president of the Lovexair Foundation and Arran Strong, ambassador of the Foundation, met in Seville with different people related to the sports environment and the respiratory health. The purpose of this meeting has been to lay the foundations to develop activities and workshops aimed at people who suffer from respiratory diseases, and people with physical disabilities. The objective of this initiative is to help them overcome the difficulties they encounter in their daily lives so that they do not lose their social relationships and their physical and emotional deterioration does not accelerate.

The meeting, which was held at the Valentín de Madariaga Foundation, was attended by Rafael Laborde, member of the Lovexair Foundation Advisory Group; María Auxiliadora Ojeda, president of the Andalusian Association of Fibrosis Quística and member of the Advisory Council of the Foundation; Arturo Montes, Javier Reja, Concha Bosch, all of them members of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Promotion of Adapted Sports in Andalusia; and Luis Redondo who is also part of this association.

In this sense, all the participants want to join efforts to make available to society all the necessary resources so that they can have a good quality of life.
