Lovexair strengthens its international impact by joining the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution

Within the framework of this strategic alliance, we will promote air quality projects in different parts of the planet.

From its headquarters in Geneva, the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) coordinates an international network of organizations dedicated to combating pollution as a direct threat to human health. Today, the Lovexair Foundation is pleased to announce our membership in GAHP, a strategic step that reinforces our global commitment to improving air quality and protecting the most vulnerable communities.

Why GAHP?

GAHP brings together health, environmental, and public policy experts from around the world. Its mission is clear: to reduce the burden of pollution-related diseases by 2030 through strong partnerships, data generation, and awareness-raising campaigns. By joining this initiative, we combine our expertise in respiratory health, civic education, and digital innovation to drive structural change.

Clean Air, Healthy Lives: The Framework for Our Collaboration

The alliance is part of our "Clean Air, Healthy Lives" campaign, launched to mobilize governments, civil society, and the private sector. Since the campaign's official launch at the 2nd WHO Global Conference on Air Pollution and Health (Cartagena, Colombia), Lovexair has taken it to Spain and Latin America, organizing public events, developing training materials, and generating debate in international forums. Now, in partnership with GAHP, we will expand our reach and coordinate joint projects along three key lines:

👉 Checkair tool as a generator of citizen data.
Available in Spanish and English, and soon in Portuguese, Checkair allows anyone to assess their lung function and share anonymous data on air quality and respiratory symptoms. Under the GAHP umbrella, Checkair data will be integrated into global platforms to enrich epidemiological studies and guide more effective public policies.

👉 Training and empowerment of healthcare professionals.
The objective: to incorporate environmental health criteria into clinical protocols and primary care consultations.

👉 Community intervention pilot projects.
In Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina, in partnership with local organizations, we will launch "active citizenship" workshops so that residents can measure pollution in their neighborhoods and engage directly with authorities.

“Joining forces with GAHP is a quantum leap forward in our journey: we're turning our passion for respiratory health into global, measurable action.”, says Shane Fitch, Chairman of the Lovexair Foundation. “For us, breathing clean air is a non-negotiable right; together, we will make this idea go from being an aspiration to becoming a reality.”.

At Lovexair, we invite institutions, companies, and NGOs from around the world to join this future-forward alliance. Because only collaboration breaks down barriers: from the lungs of each individual to global politics, we breathe together.
