Lovexair at the 11th IPCRG 2022 World Conference!
Happy to have participated in the 11th IPCRG World Conference & 2nd Ibero-American Meeting on Primary Respiratory Care from May 5 to 7, at the Trade Fair and Congress Center in Malaga.
During the event we exchanged knowledge, experiences and visions on how to strengthen and improve our communication, development of implementation of projects within the network of people collaborating in respiratory health together with health professionals in primary care, and we had the opportunity to meet again in person with friends, colleagues and establish new relationships in the respiratory community.
“Happy to have been present at this important event in Malaga with our Lovexair Foundation #team. The patient's perspective is a fundamental piece to be involved in the health we want and the experience that each person wants in their care and treatment, especially post covid. The opportunity to be present in all types of sessions is magnificent, whether it is the use of inhalers, vision of the patient or caregiver on asthma, COPD or rare diseases as well as knowing and learning to use new digital resources. Explore ways to unite doctor and patient and pharmacists to promote early detection with pharmacies and primary care services. These are very important steps in the paradigm shift.
At the #HappyAir booth we were able to connect and collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients with devices and industry partners” Shane Fitch, Founder and CEO of the Lovexair Foundation.
The Lovexair Foundation participated as an invited organization to represent the voice of patients in different sessions during the event. We had the presence of three patients invited to give their testimonials: Francesc Payola – HappyAir user and patient with severe asthma -, Alfons Viñuela – HappyAir user and patient with COPD and Alpha1- and Yolanda Fernandez, member of the Lovexair Advisory Group, patient with Interstitial Lung Disease and President of the Catalan Association of patients with advanced respiratory disease and lung transplant
Our Happyair coaches gave a practical session on inhalers, and Shane Fitch - President of the Foundation - participated in the session on the role of community pharmacies and in the presentation of the documentary "How we breathe", produced by ICPRG. In addition, Dr. Begoña Jiménez, respiratory physiotherapist, researcher and Lovexair advisor, was invited to present the poster on treatment adherence in COPD with HappyAir.
We close the last day with a free Masterclass with the trainer Jean Luc Riehm on Healthy and Active Living for respiratory patients, caregivers and health professionals.
Thank you very much IPCRG and GRAP Society for the invitation to the Lovexair Foundation, AstraZeneca Global y Trudell Medical International for your support.
Let's keep working together to improve people's quality of life!
