Are you short of breath? Try the straw.

Our ambassador Elena Marti accompanied us at the Lovexair stand during the Spanish Orienteering Championship that was held in the Sierra de Grazalema this weekend November 1-3. Young athletes, physical education teachers and coaches of athletes that include people with asthma or allergies, came to our booth to learn about the Happy Air Smart Community and take the straw challenge.

What was the result of the tests on the athletes? Surprised and somewhat shocked. Because with the straw challenge they realized what Elena feels when she has an asthmatic attack or during her training.

Elena Marti suffers from asthma but that does not stop her from fighting to continue being a top athlete for the Spanish team and she finished 3rd in her career on Friday, November 1st. Elena has learned to adapt to continue with her life, her hobbies and her sports practice, even with respiratory problems.

Thanks to everyone who participated, especially Elena, her coach and staff from the Madrid High Performance Center technical team. Thanks to the organization of the Spanish Orienteering Championship (CEOCadiz) for giving us this space among all national and international athletes.

About the Spanish Orienteering Championship:

The Spanish Mixed Relay and Long Distance Orienteering Championship as well as the II Pueblos Blancos Trophy took place between November 1 and 3, 2019.

The races were held in Arcos de la Frontera and the Sierra de Cádiz, thus giving the opportunity to explore the famous White Towns of the Sierra de Cádiz and the exceptional terrain of the area.
