Childhood asthma is one of the main causes of school absenteeism, since it is a very common chronic respiratory disease in children.

This initiative is part of the "Healthy Cities, for the improvement of childhood asthma" campaign, launched by the Lovexair Foundation and the Roger Torné Foundation with the aim of promoting good respiratory health habits, as well as the correct diagnosis and control of asthma in the children. And it is that asthma is the most frequent chronic disease in children, the one that induces more hospitalizations and more days of school lost. In Spain, it affects around 11% of children between 6 and 7 years old, 9% of adolescents between 13 and 14 years old and around 5% of the adult population.
