IMPROVID Consortium

Improvid was established as a consortium project, involving 4 countries and 8 partners today, for the European Union calls in mid-June this year.

La Lovexair Foundation, a patient-focused non-profit organization, was established in Spain in October 2011, in order to provide effective respiratory health resources for patients, communities and healthcare professionals.

During these 10 years, we have been working on the support for patient care and promotion of active life. At the same time, we have incorporated new capabilities and knowledge in digital health, from which we have developed the HappyAir community, an ecosystem of clinical-educational-social resources for comprehensive patient care. This platform is supported by a network of health professionals, specifically trained to accompany the patient and their families in their own experience and health evolution.

How do we do it?

We develop important relationships and a knowledge base from 22 years of experience with referents and key organizations Worldwide, among them: advocates and representatives from patient organizations, respiratory physiotherapists, researchers, health and life sciences academics, lung health experts, primary care physicians, industry, technology companies, and public-private institutions.

In this sense, each person has contributed, from their own experience and perspective, to the balanced design and functional development of the care models that our health and social care systems need, with a focus on the accessibility and sustainability of the environment.

Tested and guaranteed solutions

As a member of EIP on AHA (European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging), Comprehensive Care introduced HappyAir as an evidence-based model of care, and was recognized by Digital Health Europe 2020 as a scalable solution. Recently evidence was published in JMIR as a tool to improve adherence after pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with COPD.

We are progressively advancing in the development of our capacities, with Azatec Consulting Srl as a technological alliance and other strategic partners, to expand our social and digital health ecosystem and  respond to the challenges of the current pandemic, for both vulnerable people and those affected by COVID-19.

Improvid was established as a consortium project, 4 countries and 8 partners participate today, for the calls of the European Union in mid-June this year.

This initiative has generated great interest, so the opportunity arises to develop sustainable health solutions based on evidence, through a solid, innovative and well-articulated network that involves those organizations and individuals who wish to improve people's lives.
