With pain we say goodbye to our beloved Pedro Parra

From Lovexair we send a big hug and our deepest condolences to his family after the loss of our dear companion, Peter Parra. Pedro fought tirelessly for the rights of patients from the Andalusian Association of Respiratory Diseases, an entity to which he belonged. In turn, as a member of our Advisory Group, Pedro always stressed the importance of an early diagnosis and of establishing a comprehensive and holistic treatment, not just pharmacological, to deal with respiratory pathologies. More recently, Pedro showed his interest in addressing what we know as the “right to a dignified death”, with the patient being the main protagonist in this decision-making process.

Finally, we at the Lovexair Foundation would like to pay a small tribute to Pedro Parra by publishing a beautiful poem that he sent us at the beginning of 2024. For us, these words give off positive energy and encourage us to continue moving forward on this great journey that we began a few years ago, the main objective of which is to improve the quality of life of people suffering from respiratory diseases. Our goal is to promote equal access to services among citizens with the sole purpose of breathing better. Pedro, a big hug and rest in peace.

Already docking at the port

To scrap the year that has been here up until now,

From the bow I glimpse

The dawn of the new year

 

And while I fill warehouses

Almost all of good memories,

I want to send you

Through the sea of ​​desires

My best intentions

 

May the new year sail

Through rather calm seas

And they are close to the bands

Peace on starboard deck

And happiness on the port side well filled

 

And when they come crooked

And the North Wind sends us winds

Hurricanes and cold,

Let's get out of the bilges

Tons of patience

To sail upwind

 

And then relax in the aloft

Enjoying the work done

And share with the crew

Chest to chest joy

 

So if next year

From my lookout tower

I can see you from afar

I will shoot my heart out

Through the ship's portholes

Let's see if I can give you

With my heart a hug

 

And while that day arrives,

I hope that, like me,

The same thing happens on your boat,

They are moored on both sides

Peace and happiness, all year round.
