What is it like to live with a Rare or Infrequent Disease (EPOF)?

February 28 is World EPOF Day. From the Lovexair Foundation we join the #RareDiseaseDay campaign to raise awareness about these low prevalence conditions.

In the month of awareness of Rare or Infrequent Diseases, we unite our voices to give visibility to the 300 million people in the world affected by COPD. We join the #RareDiseaseDay campaign from our social networks where we spread figures and information related to these diseases that affect 5% of the world population.

What are EPOFs?

Rare, Minority or Orphan Diseases are those pathologies that affect less than 5 out of every 10.000 inhabitants. 70% of COPD begin in childhood. 72% are genetic others are the result of infections (bacterial or viral), allergies and environmental causes or are rare cancers.
