Campaign to identify the patient with signs of COPD.
The Lovexair Foundation, in collaboration with Novartis, has launched a COPD Patient Identification campaign (IDEPOC).
How to identify the COPD patient? Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is one of the most underdiagnosed respiratory pathologies: 73% of the Spanish population do not know that they have it or do not associate their respiratory symptoms with a possible COPD. To help detect those respiratory patients who have either experienced a worsening of their disease or have symptoms but have not yet been diagnosed with this disease, the Lovexair Foundation, in collaboration with Novartis, has launched a COPD Patient Identification campaign (IDEPOC).
The campaign is aimed at both patients and primary care physicians, who are offered a guide to detect possible cases of COPD among their patients. Patients, for their part, will be able to assess whether or not they suffer from the symptoms of the disease by completing the campaign survey consisting of three simple questions.
We hope that the survey help guide you in your symptomatology and that you can explain it in more detail to your doctor.
