The primary school students of Antanes School have participated in the training workshops on lung health given with the Lovexair Foundation. The entity, through Happy Air Project, seeks to make students aware of the vital importance of our respiratory system and learn to value it from a different point of view.
These educational workshops are included in the HappyAir program, an innovative project that carries out actions to promote, prevent and monitor Lung Health. This ambitious initiative launched by the Lovexair Foundation provides information for citizens to lead an active and healthy life. Thanks to the creation of the figure of Airman, the Foundation wishes to promote this program among the smallest in order to reinforce the visibility of respiratory diseases.

The workshops are taught by health professionals specialized in respiratory health. Through the figure of a superhero, Airman, students are instructed in the different care and habits that they must acquire to take care of their respiratory system. "Airman" like every superhero has several superpowers, that of breathing, the superblow, the supershield and the supershout. The little ones learn healthy lifestyle habits in addition to having fun, and when they finish the workshop they have become Airboys and Airgirls, assistants to the great superhero.
In these workshops, the professionals work with the children on the values of tolerance and respect towards classmates who have respiratory pathologies. "Airman" has a pet, a dragon that does not shoot flames and smoke, but air. This resource teaches children that there may be others just like them but with different respiratory needs.

Lovexair chooses Antanes School
Antanes School has been the center chosen to start with the training workshops given by the Lovexair Foundation. These workshops have a playful-educational nature and include activities and games with children in order to familiarize them with the respiratory system, broaden their knowledge of respiratory diseases and learn about the risks of smoking and other unhealthy habits. The objective pursued by the foundation with these actions is that the little ones have an active, healthy life and with better attention to their lung health.
Shane Fitch, president of the Lovexair Foundation has highlighted the importance of developing this type of action in educational centers, “since the foundation we care about the prevention of respiratory diseases. For this reason we believe that this type of workshop is very important so that children from a very early age are aware of the risks of tobacco, and acquire beneficial habits for health. In addition, thanks to these activities, both parents and teachers expand their knowledge about respiratory pathologies such as asthma, one of the most frequent diseases among children”.
