Our Lady of the Conception holds a workshop on Pulmonary Health given by the Lovexair Foundation The second grade students of the Nuestra Señora de la Concepción de Navalcarne school
The second grade students of the Nuestra Señora de la Concepción de Navalcarnero school have held an informative workshop on respiratory health coordinated by the Lovexair Foundation.
The non-profit organization, through the project entitled "Our superhero Airman", seeks to instill in students from childhood the importance of acquiring healthy lifestyle habits, in addition to expanding knowledge about the main function of the respiratory system .
The workshop is taught by a health professional specialized in respiratory health.
Through this activity, students learn to control asthma and how to act in the face of an asthmatic crisis, they know the risks of tobacco consumption, the problems that environmental pollution entails, and they solve doubts related to respiratory diseases.
All this knowledge is acquired with the help of children's characters created by the Foundation itself. Among other characters we highlight the Airman puppet with which the little ones are instructed in practices as common as breathing.
Through the figure of a superhero, Airman, students are instructed in the different care and habits that they must acquire to take care of their respiratory system.
"Airman" like every superhero has several superpowers, that of breathing, the superblow, the supershield and the supershout.
The little ones learn healthy lifestyle habits in addition to having fun, and when they finish the workshop they have become Airboys and Airgirls, assistants to the great superhero.
Eva Maroto, director of the patient area of the Lovexair Foundation, highlights the importance of these training workshops, “the Foundation wants to bring respiratory health closer to the public.
For this reason, he considers that the development of this type of educational playful activities is a good way to prevent tobacco addiction and make them aware of the importance of the respiratory system.
From Lovexair we thank the Nuestra Señora de la Concepción school for having made us part of their cultural week by holding this workshop on respiratory health.
