Our participation in the 6th SEPAR Patients Forum and 56th SEPAR 2023 Congress (Granada, June 8-10, 2023)

 

We are very happy to have been invited and actively participated in the 6th SEPAR Patients Forum "Breathing Together" and at the 56th SEPAR Congress 2023 , held in Granada on June 8, 9 and 10, 2023. It was a welcoming setting to meet with patient organizations, family members and different health professionals and collaborators, and it has been an opportunity to resume the path towards our common post-mortem goals. Covid.

Gain knowledge about lived experiences and determine future actions that allow us to establish projects of mutual interest o mark the steps in issues that are key for patients: rehabilitation, treating the patient holistically and early detection continue to be the great challenges.

In recent years, we have been working on the implementation of R&D clinical studies in digital health in various hospitals for different diseases. among them difficult-to-control asthma and bronchiestasia. We ended this year attending the intervention of the Dr. Ines de Mir Messa to then receive the Gold Award for the Inspiring Kids study guided by Mar Esteban, a respiratory physiotherapist trained as a HappyAir Coach. Mar has worked on the Accompaniment to young people and their families in the management of difficult-to-control asthma with our HappyAir digital health ecosystem.

We attended seminars on the impact of pollution on the health of respiratory patients, an area of ​​R&D that we are interested in following and know that there are advances in the application of AI and new technologies in patient monitoring.

We especially thank SEPAR Patients for inviting us and participating in the program on the first day, focused on patient organizations and the opportunity to join efforts from now on to disseminate information and educational materials, activities or support in public events in their next Forum. in Valencia.

We also appreciate having been able to hold a meeting with Drs. Eusebi Chiner and Carmen Hernández and our congratulations for their great work in reinstating the Patient Day on the agenda of the SEPAR Congress and the patient organizations that have participated.
