2nd LATAM Summit of Respiratory Patients

2020-Online

2020 and the impact of COVID-19 makes the need to empower patients and healthcare professionals around the world more relevant than ever.

In response to this challenge, Lovexair Foundation, In collaboration with GAPPP, organized the 2nd Virtual Summit of Respiratory Patients of LATAM 2020, a series of free sessions and workshops, open to the community, which took place on December 6, 7 and 8, 2020.

These annual meetings aim to provide tools and new perspectives to improve respiratory health training and management in this new context.

These meetings were held in Spanish and for the first time we held selected key sessions in Brazilian Portuguese.

The 2nd Summit was an opportunity to unify the voices of patients from Latin American countries and work together for their rights, access to treatment and improvement of care.

Argentina – Brazil – Colombia – Chile – Spain – United States of America – Mexico – Panama – Uruguay – Venezuela

About the Lovexair Foundation

Lovexair Foundation is a non-profit organization, with a global presence, dedicated to the care, support and guidance of people with respiratory diseases, their families and caregivers.

Our presence in Latin America

Statistical data:

  1. We currently have more than 1.372.000 visits to our websites (www.lovexair.comwww.happyair.org) mainly, in order of relevance, come from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Ecuador.
  2. 57% of our followers on Facebook they are from Central and South America, especially patients suffering from chronic respiratory diseases.
  3. 21% of our followers on Twitter  (@lovexair) come from Latin America, primarily health professionals.
  4. At this time, the Lovexair Foundation has a communication channel focused on Latin American patients in order to share experiences and answer questions and queries.
